Abstract:In order to select safe and efficient plant oil pesticide, the toxicities of emamectin benzoate mixed with three plant oils (pine oil, palm oil, pine oil with palm oil) and xylene to earthworm (Eisenia foelide) were investigated by the standard soil test, and the filed efficacy with four pesticides to controll pluteUa xylostella were determined. The results showed that the acute toxicity of emamectin benzoate mixed with the palm oil to earthworm was lower than that of the emamectin benzoate mixed with xylene and having higher safety for earthworm. The emametin benzoate mixed with pine oil and palm oil had excellent effect with 0.90 L/hm^2 treatment after 7 days for controlling plutella xylostella, and it had better control effect compared with the emamectin benzoate mixed with xylene.
