Abstract:In order to better predict the settlement of foundation, a simple calculation method-hyperbolic model method was introduced, in which hyperbolic function was used to reflect the nonlinearity of foundation settlement, and in order to avoid the parameter error caused by sampling disturbance of foundation soil, in-situ soil plate loading test was proposed to determine the model parameters. This method was applied to the settlement calculation of a raft foundation. The results showed that the model calculation results are in good agreement with the measured results, which proves that the in-situ soil hyperbolic model method is feasible for the nonlinear settlement calculation of foundation.
