Abstract Using the impulse stabilization theory, a certain type of automobile system could achieve the expected stabilization effect under the impulse interference when the coordinated braking control could not achieve the system stability. Using the Lyapunov method and the constant variation method formula, the stability condition of the vehicle system under the pulse action was that: A(t) was continuous on [t0,+∞), and ∫∞t0|~C(t)|2dt<+∞.
