Investigation and identification of Lepidoptera inscet pests damaging mulberry in Guangdong province

In recent years, Lepidoptera insect pests have been the main pests in mulberry tree in Guangdong, which cause great economic losses to sericulture production every year. Through the investigation and collection of the pest of Lepidoptera insect pest in mulberry, 5 Lepidoptera insect pests were identified by morphology and molecular(cytochrome oxidase subunit I gene mtCOI) identification, they were Glyphodes pyloalis Walker, Orvasca subnotata Walker, Orgyia australis Walker, Homona coffearia Meyrick and Hyposidra talaca Walker. O. subnotata was first reported to damage mulberry in our country. H.coffearia and H. talaca were first reported to attack mulberry in Guangdong.

Study on diseases of Passiflora edulia caused by Fusarium

Passiflora edulia is a kind of tropical and subtropical fruit, its planting area in the south of China has increased rapidly in recent years, and the disease has also occurred seriously. Fusarium spp. were isolated from the leaves, fruits and stem base of P. edulia infected-plants. The pathogens were identified through the pathogenicity assay, morphological characteristics and molecular biology methods, the result showed that the pathogen damaging the leave of P. edulia was identified as Fusarium fujikuroi, and that the pathogen damaging the fruit and stem base of P. edulia was Fusarium concentricum, providing a theoretical basis for the control of P. edulia diseases.

Hydrothermal synthesis of multistage mesoporous MCM-48 and its loading on Triadimefon

To explore the relationship between the pore structure of mesoporous silicon and its drug loading content. In this experiment, different composition of hierarchical porous materials was prepared through hydrothermal method using P123/CTAB as co-templates, methyl silicate(TEOS) as silicon source. And the mesoporous silica was characterized by FTIR、UV、N2 adsorption desorption、TG、DSC、SEM and TEM. Moreover, its adsorption behavior of pesticide triadimefon was studied. The results showed that the hierarchical pore was occurred in PC-MCM-48-5 when mass ratio of CTAB to P123=1∶3, with whose irregular pore distribution and higher loading the per unit of triadimefon than MCM-48. Meanwhile,its larger aperture was more conducive to drug molecular transport and release.

Design and test of artificial automatic twisting device for high forest fruit

In view of the lack of non-destructive picking device with high forest fruit at present, the traditional artificial pat, fruit shear Picking method were low efficiency, the labor intensity was large, the fruit body was easy to damage, and the risk coefficient of climbing picking was high, a kind of high forest fruit assisted artificial automatic torsion and extraction device was designed. The theoretical analysis and key component design of the plant's forest fruit clamping mechanism and power transmission mechanism were carried out, and the control system of the automatic torsion picking device was developed based on the single-chip microcomputer technology. In order to test the automatic torsion and extraction function of high forest fruit and the range of theoretical torsional fruit diameter, the fruit forest picking test of 2 kinds of fruit of apple and pear was carried out. The results showed that the picking success rate of apples and pears was 88% and 82% respectively, the range of fruit picking was 6.3-8.3 cm, and the average time of single fruit picking was 6.7 s. The device torsion removal mechanism and control system could automatically coordinate the operation to meet the requirements of high forest fruit safety nondestructive harvesting.

Effect of protective materials on the service life of concrete based on carbonization factors of different strength grades

In order to study the protective effect of protective materials on the carbonation protection of concrete of different strength grades and its service life, the carbonation protection performance of three cement-based permeable crystalline materials was investigated by accelerated carbonation test. The prediction formula of concrete carbonation depth were derived, and the service life of concrete with different strength grades after protection were quantitatively characterized based on the Fick first diffusion law. The results indicated that the service life of the protected concrete structure have been greatly improved, the service life of C20 concrete after coating protection have exceeded 100 years, and the service life of concrete below C15 was less than 100 years, but the service life of the protected C10 concrete was still less than 50 years. That is, the protective material can effectively improve the carbonation resistance of the concrete, but for the C10 concrete, the degree of carbonization of the concrete is still deep after the coating protection.

The behavior and reasons of adoption and evaluation on foreign seeds of maize growing farmers

To provide a micro foundation for the adjustment and optimization of open policies in seed market and the competitiveness improvement of domestic seed, maize growing farmers' behavior and reasons of adoption and evaluation on foreign seeds were discussed, by comprehensive use of frequency statistics, based on the survey on farmers in 2018 in six main maize growing provinces such as Heilongjiang, Shandong and Henan. It was revealed that the farmers surveyed had higher cognition of foreign seeds but lower adoption rate, of whom only 14.8% purchased and only 7.97% continued to purchase foreign seeds. Overall, the main reasons for the adoption were high yield and high returns, for not adopting, the worry about the risk of new varieties. Compared with domestic seeds, foreign seeds were obvious better in variety resistance, quality, yield and income, but not significant different in terms of service and sales policy, agricultural inputs dosage and so on. Based on the above findings, some policies should be taken including persisting in the appropriate opening of the seed industry, supporting domestic seed industry to enhance the innovation ability and comprehensive competitiveness, and guiding the farmers to rationally select seed varieties.

Research on the competitiveness of agricultural products processing industry in Guangdong province based on factor analysis

The agricultural products processing industry played an important role in Guangdong's economy, but there were still many problems in its development. 11 indicators were selected from three aspects of the input, market performance and output to establish the competitiveness evaluation index system of the agricultural products processing industry. Based on the data of 2010 and 2017, the comprehensive competitiveness of 12 industries of Guangdong's agricultural products processing industry was compared and evaluated using the factor analysis. The results showed that food manufacturing, furniture manufacturing, textile,clothing and apparel industries were the most competitive and the least competitive industries include tobacco products, agricultural food processing industry, etc. The comprehensive competitiveness of rubber and plastic products, paper and paper products industries had remained stable. Each industry had its own problems in scale, specialization, market share, enterprise management.Accounting for these problems, some countermeasures were put forward to enhance the competitiveness of Guangdong's agricultural products processing industry,including improving the scale and specialization, speeding up the pace of scientific and technological innovation,creating the characteristic brand and innovating the mode of market management.

Review on the removal of nutrient pollutants in waters by ecological ditches

Ecological ditches are demonstrated to be a great deal of application advantages in the removal of nutrient pollutants from aqueous solutions in view of a unique plant-sediment-microbial system. In this paper, the effects of various technical parameters and the progress in the practical of ecological ditches such as plant species, structures and microorganism on the nutrient pollutants by ecological ditches were systematically summarized. Furthermore, application limitations and improvement methods on the ecological ditches treatment were proposed, and the future development of ecological ditches was also predicted.

Research progress of nutritional physiology and feed development for cephalopods

Cephalopods such as squid and octopus are important economic marine animals in China, some of them have become potential aquaculture species. Currently, cephalopods culture mainly depends on the natural food, the commercial formulated feed has not been developed. In this paper, the advances in nutritional physiology of cephalopods are presented, including structures and functions of the digestive system, requirements of nutrients such as protein, amino acid, lipid, fatty acid, vitamin and mineral, and formulated feed, which will provide basic research data for formulated feed development and application for cultured cephalopods.
