Abstract:Passion fruit(Passiflora edulis)has become an important fruit in south China in recent years. Due to its asexual reproduction and planting for several years, virus diseases seriously affect the yield and quality of passion fruit. A disease survey was conducted on the passion fruit of Boluo, Huaiji, Wuhua, Xingning, Dapu, Xinfeng, Heping in Guangdong Province, and suspected samples were collected. The results indicated that virus diseases, with symptoms of mosaic, crinkle and mottle, were important diseases of passion fruit. The specific primers were designed based on the conservative sequences of Cucumber mosaic virus(CMV), Passion fruit woodiness virus(PWV), and Passiflora mottle virus(PaMV) to detect these viruses by RT-PCR, then sequenced and analyzed. The results showed that CMV was detected from Zixiang of Huaiji and Dapu, Tainong1 hao of Xinfeng, and PaMV from Mantianxing of Wuhua.
