Hedychium ＇Chengxin＇ is a new Hedychium hybrid which was selected from H.coronarium and H.gardnerianum ＇Fen＇.The plant of H.＇Chengxin＇ is straight and is 142.2 cm in height with lanceolate leaves and long flowering period.Compared with H.coronarium,the labellum of H.＇Chengxin＇ was ornamented with orange patch and more elegant fragrance.The new cultivar was suitable for open field cultivation in Guangdong area.
