Abstract：Choosing reasonable fresh agricultural products suppliers was of great significance to reduce the risk of shortage, reduce costs and improve the quality and safety of products. For the selection of fresh agricultural product supplier with linguistic assessment information, a new selection method was pro- posed based on the perspective of loss aversion. Firstly, an evaluation index system of supplier was estab- lished according to the characteristics of fresh agricultural products. Secondly, the calculation method of loss / gain was given to establish the loss / gain utility function on the base of it. Afterwards the projec- tion method was adopted to rank and select the alternative suppliers. Lastly, an example was used to il- lustrate the scientific and the operation process of the proposed method. The new method had provided new ideas and ways for the selection of fresh agricultural products suppliers.
