Abstract The resistance of 19 mulberry cultivars to mulberry root-knot nematode disease was tested,theresults showed that the cultivar Yuesang C20 was immune to the disease,varieties Yuesang C8,Yuesang87 and Yuesang 44 being highly resistant; Yuesang 85,Yuesang C10,Yuesang C21,Yuesang C19,Yuesang C15,Yuesang C121,Yuesang C43 being moderately resistant; Yuesang 51,Yuesang 119,Yuesang 110,Yuesang C45 and Tang 10 × 109 being moderately sensitive and Yuesang 84,Yuesang120,283 × anti -10 being susceptible. In addition,the control experiment of mulberry root-knot nema-tode disease was carried out in laboratory,the results showed that the efficacy of biocontrol agent Paecilo-myces lilacinus and chlorpyrifos were 75% and 70%,respectively; efficacy of biocontrol bacterium Bacil-lus falciparum was 50%. The results provide theoretical basis for field control work.
