Abstract：Radix fici has a long history of medicinal use，with records dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Nowadays，the research achievements of Radix fici in pharmacology，such as tonifying the spleen and qi，relieving cough，antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties，and antioxidant activities，have been constantly emerging. With the widespread application of fingerprint mapping in the field of traditional Chinese medicine，establishing the spectrum-effect relationship of Radix fici can establish an evaluation model that corresponds to its medicinal effects and reflects its inherent quality. This article overviewed the domestic research on the chemical constituents，fingerprint mapping and pharmacological effects of Radix fici over the past decade，which provided reference for its future application.
