Abstract Hedychium Coronarium ×H. gardnerianum is a new Hedychium hybrid which was selected from filial generation of H. coronarium and H. gardnerianum. Pseudostems ca. 139.9 cm, blade lanceo- late, florescence long. Compared with H. coronarium, the spikes of the cuhivar has golden yellow spikes, compactly, smaller flowers and shorter corolla tubes, upper bracts as drum shaped, fragrance is more elegant. This new cultivar might take an important role in field cultivation in Guangdong area.
