Abstract Huanglongbing is a devastating disease of citrus, which have caused great loss in the citrus industry of the world. PCR is a reliable method for the diagnosis of Huanglongbing and has advantages such as high sensitivity, strong specificity, high-speed and so on. Previous references have reported the detection PCR primers of Huanglongbing, but there is no report on the comparative analysis of the sensitivity of Huanglongbing specific primers. In order to compare the sensitivity of three pairs of previous reported Huanglongbing specific primers, ten infected Citrus reticulate samples were selected as the PCR reaction template. Specific primers were used to amplify the total DNA of those samples, under the same template and amplification conditions. The results showed that P1/P2 primer has the lowest sensitivity and the DNA samples have not been amplified. The primer P3/P4 has good sensitivity and the amplification band is obvious, but the amplification band of individual samples is not obvious; The primer OI1/OI2 c has the best sensitivity and all sample amplification bands are obvious.
